Venesky-Brown Celebrate Success with Building Trades Agency Staff Framework

Venesky-Brown is celebrating yet another success with its recent placement on six of the Building Trades Agency Staff Framework councils in Scotland.

The Edinburgh-based recruitment agency and project solutions company have recently been awarded a new contract with the Building Trades Agency Staff Frameworks, to manage staffing projects for six Scottish councils, including East Ayrshire Council, South Ayrshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council, and The Highland Council.

Venesky-Brown’s responsibilities within these frameworks will include supplying suitably experienced and competent temporary Building Trade Agency Workers, in accordance with the Framework agreement. Working predominantly with the Housing Departments of each Council, Venesky-Brown will additionally supply workers and support to other departments within the respective Council on an as-needed basis.

Expected to commence in July 2019 for a period of two years, this framework project includes two one-year extension options at the discretion of the Council, with all participating Councils being committed to sourcing from the Framework Agreement where they have a matching requirement.

This project is Venesky-Brown’s fifth framework success in the last six months, and comes after their recent success earlier in 2019 with their appointment to two of the Scottish Governments latest Staff Services Frameworks. In addition to their framework ventures, Venesky-Brown still continue to fully service the private sector in blue collar construction staff provisions.

Venesky-Brown Recruitment Secure a Place on the Crown Commercial Service’s Framework

This new framework is in collaboration with NHS Procurement in Partnership and is open to NHS contracting authorities and all UK public sector bodies, such as local government, universities, charities and blue light services.

Venesky-Brown Recruitment Secure a place on Scottish Government Frameworks

Venesky-Brown Recruitment is delighted to announce their appointment to two of the Scottish Governments latest Staff Services Frameworks.

The Frameworks involve the sourcing and provision of interim staff services in the IT Services sector and Professional Services sector from 13th April 2019 to 12th April 2023, for Public Sector Bodies in Scotland.

Four contractors have been appointed to each of these Frameworks, with Venesky-Brown fighting off strong competition to win their place. These Frameworks are two of the largest interim staff services frameworks in Scotland and cover central and local government, the NHS, higher and further education institutions, and other public bodies.

Edinburgh based Venesky-Brown Recruitment was established in 2005 and initially focused on blue collar construction and civil engineering, however over the last few years they have diversified their activities moving into professional services and IT services.

Venesky-Brown engages with all sizes of clients from multinational businesses to SME’s throughout the UK and Ireland. This latest Government Framework project will enhance their expansion plans and strengthen Venesky-Brown’s position within the employment solutions industry over the coming years.

“We are looking forward to working closely with Framework Public Bodies throughout Scotland,” says Martin Cairns, Managing Director of Venesky-Brown Recruitment. “We hope our collaborative and proactive approach will bring success to all involved, by providing high-quality staff services and value for money and at the same time, supporting our candidates by placing them in the best-suited interim assignments within the Frameworks and giving them job satisfaction.”

Venesky-Brown Completes Tough Mudder 5k!

Venesky-Brown recently competed in the inaugural Tough Mudder 5km run in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. On a lovely sunny day all 26 of us bolstered by contacts from our clients and onsite workers, completed the course and raised over £2,000 for our chosen charity of 2018 – Health in Mind.

Raising funds started off as our main aim but what became apparent to us was that raising awareness of Mental Health was equally if not more important.

Below is a link to a short YouTube video of our day, which was great fun and gives a few more facts regarding Mental Health. It is very entertaining and worth a look:
